Welcome to the Kingsville Fire Department official website. We are glad you have chosen to visit us. This website is an important tool to facilitate communication about fire services and fire safety. The fire service has identified a three pronged approach to a total community fire safety program:
- Public Fire Safety Education.
- Fire Prevention Inspections and Code Enforcement under the Ontario Fire Code.
- Emergency Fire Response
We hope that this website will assist you in becoming more aware of our efforts in these three areas and, most importantly, the fire safety measures you can take to protect your family and property.
Our service is provided by the Town of Kingsville and supported by municipal taxes. We are regulated by a provincial statute - The Fire Protection and Prevention Act. The Office of the Fire Marshal for the Province of Ontario monitors services and provides guidelines to municipalities regarding fire protection under this piece of legislation.
We have included a number of links which will provide you with a host of fire service and safety information to browse through - there are even links with fire safety activities for children to enjoy on the Kidz Page. They will also want to see the photos of our current firefighting apparatus.
